About Jens Myrup Pedersen
Jens Myrup Pedersen combines an entrepreneurial mindset with academic curiosity, inspiring students to explore, experiment and innovate within cybersecurity. As a professor at Aalborg University, he leads the Master’s programme in Cybersecurity, where he is recognized for his playful, hands-on teaching style and his strong focus on building collaborative learning communities.
Beyond the classroom, Jens is national coach for the Danish Cybersecurity Team and a driving force behind a growing community of young cyber talents, giving hundreds of students the opportunity to test and develop their skills in competitions and real-world challenges. His work bridges academia, industry, and public authorities, all while fostering meaningful communities that prepare the next generation of cyber professionals.
