About Mathias Bay Lynggaard
Mathias has unique expertise in Danish public affairs and international politics.
Before joining Rasmussen Global, he worked as a journalist for more than a decade at the Danish Broadcasting Corporation, DR, including five years as the host of Denmark’s most popular current affairs radio program, Orientering.
As a reporter, analyst, and host, Mathias extensively covered domestic politics, foreign affairs, energy, tech, security, and macroeconomic issues. He reported on several US presidential elections, Brexit, and conflicts in the Middle East, and has interviewed all current heads of the Danish political parties several times.
Mathias was educated at the Danish School of Media and Journalism, and was the founder and first chairman of Danish Media Students and a board member of The Danish Union of Journalists.
